Substrate temperature must be no less than 40 degrees F and not exceed 80 degrees F. If applied outside these limits the sealer may not achieve adequate film formation and may have excessive air entrapment, bubbles, blushing or hazing.  Post add desired amount of Matte to solvent based acrylic sealer and stir with a drill mixer for approximately 2- 3 minutes or until homogenous, prior to application. Stir lightly periodically during application to ensure an even gloss level. Failure to do so may result in a streaked finish with varying gloss levels. Remix any material left over
with a drill mixer before applying. Matte is a flammable liquid. An approved respirator, safety goggles, and gloves are recommended.
Suggested addition levels
Satin Finish – add 1 pint per 5 gallon of 25% solids acrylic sealer
Matte Finish – add 2 pints per 5 gallon of 25% solids acrylic sealer
*Addition levels may vary for different sealer formulations. Reduce or add Matte volumes as needed for desired gloss level.
PLEASE NOTE: It is always recommended to test the product in a small, inconspicuous area (on the same concrete
substrate) for desired results prior to application. Coverage rates may vary for all coatings and substrates
depending on porosity, density, texture etc. Spraying is not a recommended application method.
